The State Government has lifted the suspension of internet and data services in Ukhrul district, as well as portions of Kangpokpi and Kamjong districts, following an assessment of the law-and-order situation. This suspension had been imposed for five days due to arson and communal riots, starting on February 10. The Joint Secretary (Home) issued an order that led to the decision to revoke the suspension after considering the impact on the public and institutions. Internet service providers have been instructed to comply with this order, and users are encouraged to utilize internet services responsibly to prevent future suspensions.
