On December 20 Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Wednesday said the state is safeguarding the youths of the country by effectively checking drug smuggling. Actually talking to reporters, Singh said though Manipur is a small state, the number of drug users is rampantly increasing. Actually today in India drug smuggling is very big concern and from it especially the youth get effected.
People should take this issue very seriously and should not tolerate it. If someone found this type of activity then they should immediately inform it. Police should take this very strictly and take correct action against it. Actually activity related to drugs is happening everywhere as government have eradicated many poppy plantations and arrested hundreds of drug smugglers. Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh also said that Manipur is protecting the youths of mainland India by checking the inflow of drugs to the rest of the country from Myanmar and beyond. Actually he also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given special priority to Manipur and wants to develop the state.
