Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) proudly announced that its dealership, Rajesh Toyota, has been awarded the prestigious GreenCo Gold Rating by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Green Business Centre. This recognition marks Rajesh Toyota as the first automotive dealership in India to receive this accolade, reflecting its commitment to sustainable eco practices.The award ceremony, held recently in Chennai, celebrated Rajesh Toyota’s exceptional achievements in environmental sustainability. The dealership’s initiatives were evaluated on parameters such as energy efficiency, waste management, and water conservation, aligning with Toyota’s Environmental Challenge 2050 (TEC 2050).
Rajesh Toyota has implemented significant measures, including reducing scope 1 and 2 emissions by 31.27% from 2019 levels and achieving 90.5% renewable energy usage. Their efforts in lean management, inventory optimization, and digital promotions have cut waste generation per vehicle by 20.3%. The installation of an Effluent Treatment Plant ensures zero liquid discharge, enhancing their eco-friendly credentials.Mr. B.
