The All Manipur Muslim Students Organisation (AMMSO) has alleged that the Authority of the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) in collaboration with some printing firm companies, has been printing textbooks for classes 1 to 10 without issuing and having proper work orders.
According to a statement from All Manipur Muslim Students Organisation the organization discovered that some printing farm houses were printing books for classes 1 to 10 without receiving proper work orders and permissions. Normally Board of Secondary Education Manipur issues work orders to various printing farms in the state for each academic session. However, for this session Board of Secondary Education Manipur has not issued any work orders for book printing to any of the registered printing farms that have paid fees to BOSEM.
All Manipur Muslim Students Organisation also noted that the Hologram in Board of Secondary Education Manipur which is mandatory in all the books was found at the printing press indicating the involvement of BOSEM Authority in illicit activities. Taking this matter very seriously, AMMSO warns of serious protests if BOSEM fails to clarify the situation regarding the printing of the books without proper work orders and the application of BOSEM holograms to those printing farms within three working days.
