Security forces successfully apprehended three individuals involved in drug smuggling during an operation at a naka checkpoint in Tengnoupal district. The suspects are identified as James Baite (28), Hatneikim Baite (50), both from Tengnoupal, and David T Mate (41) from Churachandpur district. Authorities recovered approximately 5.89 kilograms of WY tablets, along with a Mahindra Bolero vehicle (registration No. MZ-01F-5013), three mobile phones, and three Aadhaar cards from the arrestees’ possession.
