Despite the violence he faced, Valte remained an advocate for unity in Manipur’s multi-ethnic society, respecting the distinct identities of various tribes. His courageous decision to travel through Imphal on his final medical journey highlighted his enduring commitment to peace. TCI celebrated his legacy of integrity and leadership, urging society to prioritize non-violence and reconciliation in memory of Valte, while offering condolences to his family.
