As part of a nationwide organizational restructuring effort by the Indian National Congress, the “Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan” campaign was launched at Congress Bhavan in Thoubal, organized by the District Congress Committee (DCC), Thoubal, following directives from the All-India Congress Committee (AICC). Key attendees included AICC Observer Ajoy Kumar Lalloo, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Of Ibobi Singh, and several party leaders.
During the event, Ajoy Kumar Lalloo highlighted that the initiative, spearheaded by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, aims to enhance the party’s organizational capacity by reorganizing its structure across all districts. Newly appointed District Congress Committee presidents are expected to work closely with the national leadership to address public grievances and bolster grassroots engagement.
Lalloo emphasized that the initiative is crucial for rejuvenating the party, aiming to improve coordination among party members, elected officials, and local civic organizations. It also seeks to increase accountability and transparency within the party structure. He expressed optimism that these organizational reforms would lead to the emergence of capable district leaders dedicated to public service.
