Security forces conducted a search operation in the Keirak Awang Loukon Chingol area, under Kakching-PS in Kakching district, leading to the recovery of various arms and ammunition. The haul included an Amogh Carbine with a magazine, two locally made lathode guns, two single-barrel firearms, seven tear smoke shells, three tube launching devices, two .36 HE Grenades with detonators, 50 rounds of ammunition, 100 empty cases, two IDL explosives with detonators, two helmets, one bulletproof jacket, and two magazine pouches. In tandem with these operations, security forces implemented ongoing area domination efforts across vulnerable and fringe areas of the districts, which included establishing a total of 105 checkpoints in both hill and valley regions; however, no detentions were made during these activities. Additionally, the movement of 287 vehicles carrying essential supplies along NH-37 was maintained, with strict security measures enforced in vulnerable locations and security convoys provided for sensitive transport routes to ensure safe movement of these vehicles.
