Security forces conducted operations in the Imphal West and Imphal East districts, resulting in the arrests of two active cadres of the KCP (Apunba), Thaodem Jackson Singh (21) from Thangmeiband Hijam Leikai and Angom Vidyananda Singh (20) from Khurai Thangjam Leikai. Both were apprehended in their respective localities while in possession of two mobile phones and an Aadhaar card. Additionally, another active cadre, Khaidem Toni Singh @Ibungo (42) from Moirang Khunou Makha Leikai in the Bishnupur district, was arrested from his residence. In a separate search operation in the Khulsaibung hill range under Machi-PS, Tengnoupal district, security forces recovered significant munitions, including one single barrel gun, two pistols with magazines, eight IEDs, and 41 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, as well as two Baofeng radios.
Imphal
