Wairokpam Atu Meitei @ Boiton (22) of Phoijing Tera Makhong, under the Nambol Police Station, Bishnupur district, was an active cadre of PREPAK (Pro) who was detained by Manipur Police yesterday. He had a cell phone taken from him. Malem Heisnam @ Ngaiba (21) of Karang Maning Leikai, under Keibul Lamjao-PS, Bishnupur district, was apprehended by Manipur Police on the same day from the Thanga Chingang Playground area, under Keibul Lamjao Police Station, Bishnupur district.
Additionally, Chabungbam Thaibema Devi (49) @ Medha of Tera Loukrakpam Leikai under Lamphel Police Station, Imphal West district, an extortionist and active RPF/PLA cadre, was apprehended by security troops from her home. One mobile phone, one Aadhaar card, and extortion money totaling Rs. 1 lakh were found in her possession. An active KCP (Taibanganba) cadre, Thangjam Tomba Meitei @ Bikash (31) of Laingoubi Awang Leikai, was also detained by Manipur Police. He currently resides in Wangoo Ahallup Awang Leikai, which is part of the Kumbi Police Station in the Bishnupur area.
