Samsung India has announced the top 10 finalist teams for its Solve for Tomorrow 2024 CSR programme. The finalists, consisting of 22 students from across India, will present their innovative solutions to a grand jury of Samsung and industry leaders. Teams come from diverse regions, including Golaghat in Assam, Udupi in Karnataka, and Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh.

The programme, now in its third edition, focuses on themes like Community and Inclusion and Environment and Sustainability. Finalist innovations tackle arsenic pollution, VR-based learning, and wildfire monitoring. Samsung, in partnership with IIT Delhi’s Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), provided mentorship, with each team receiving grants and the latest Samsung devices.

In Imphal, the locals views this initiative as a potential catalyst for tech-driven solutions to regional problems. With a strong focus on social entrepreneurship, initiatives like Solve for Tomorrow could encourage more startups in Imphal’s emerging tech sector, addressing local challenges such as water conservation and digital literacy.Winning teams will secure grants of up to ₹50 lakh to further develop their ideas, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to empowering the next generation of innovators across India.
