The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, has come to notice that a fake and fabricated notification is being circulated on social media platforms and other channels claiming that Lourembam Jessica Devi has been selected for appointment to the post of Staff Nurse at RIMS, Imphal. Another notification dated February 12, purportedly signed by Deputy Director (Admin) announcing “personnel interaction” for the posts have also been observed. RIMS categorically clarified that these notifications are false, unauthorized, and not issued by the institute and do not carry any official validity. The institute further clarified that the recruitment process for Staff Nurse at RIMS, Imphal, is done through NORCET, which is a centralized recruiting examination conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi only.
The institute strongly condemned such irresponsible and misleading acts, intended to create confusion among candidates and the general public. It advised the citizens not to believe, share, or circulate such fake documents. RIMS further cautioned that creation and circulation of forged official documents is a serious offence and may attract strict legal action under the relevant laws, against individuals involved in such activities.
