The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, is scheduled to visit Manipur on December 11 and 12. Upon her arrival in Imphal on December 11, she will receive a guard of honour and then attend a polo exhibition match at the historic Mapal Kangjeibung. That evening, a civic reception in her honour will be held at the City Convention Centre, where she will also lay foundation stones and inaugurate several developmental projects. On December 12, she will visit the Nupee Lal Memorial complex to pay tribute to the women warriors of Manipur, followed by a public address in Senapati, where she will lay foundation stones and inaugurate additional projects for the district.
