The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) partnered with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) to conduct a series of enlightening workshops. Titled ‘Deep Dive in Green, Social, and Sustainability (GSS) Bonds Issuance Process,’ these workshops went beyond the realm of finance; they represented a collective effort to create positive change.
Across two days in Mumbai and New Delhi, individuals from diverse backgrounds, including finance, real sectors, and government agencies, came together to learn about sustainable finance practices. Expert facilitators led engaging sessions, providing participants with practical knowledge on topics ranging from GSS bond issuance to their role in financing green infrastructure.
Speakers like Shri K Rajaraman, Chairperson of IFSCA, and Smt. Shalini Agrawal, IAS, Municipal Commissioner of Surat, shared inspiring stories of how sustainable finance can transform communities and cities.
