Essential healthcare services were provided to the remote villages of Molphie and Chongjang in the Tengnoupal district through medical camps organized by the Assam Rifles as part of Operation Sadbhavana. This initiative aimed to offer much-needed medical support to communities in isolated border areas, where healthcare access is typically limited. A dedicated team of doctors and medical personnel from the Assam Rifles conducted free medical check-ups and consultations while distributing essential medicines to the villagers. Special emphasis was placed on women’s health, maternal care, and the treatment of common seasonal illnesses. Additionally, the medical staff engaged with residents, promoting awareness about preventive healthcare practices, personal hygiene, nutrition, and the significance of regular health check-ups for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The medical camps received an enthusiastic response from the community, benefiting a total of 835 villagers—385 from Molphie and 450 from Chongjang, as reported in a press release by IGAR(S).
