Lourembam Anjali Devi and Chanambam Langlen Chanu, both displaced by the turmoil, have secured a spot to represent Manipur in the prestigious 3rd Sub Junior Boys and Girls National Boxing Championship 2024.

Hailing from Moreh Ward No. 5 and Ekou Sadu Koireng respectively, these young athletes embody the unwavering spirit of the Manipuri people in the face of adversity. Despite the loss of their homes, they have persevered and excelled in their boxing endeavors, showcasing their talent and determination.

Anjali Devi and Langlen Chanu have been honing their skills at the Sarita Regional Boxing Academy, founded by renowned boxing figure Laishram Sarita and her husband Thoiba.
