Manipur Police conducted a comprehensive one-day training programme focused on the “National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID)” at the New Manipur Police Headquarters in Mantripukhri. This initiative was supported by the NATGRID team from the Ministry of Home Affairs and was organized following directives from the Union Home Minister. The primary objective of the training was to equip police officers with an in-depth understanding of NATGRID’s features and operational capabilities, thereby enhancing their ability to share intelligence effectively and conduct data-driven investigations. Approximately 150 police officers, representing various units, participated in the training, both in person and via video conferencing.

The NATGRID team, which included Dr. Saurabh Gupta (Advisor, Project NATGRID), Cdr. Jitesh P. Saini (Director, NATGRID), and Anup Kumar (Deputy Secretary, NATGRID), delivered valuable technical insights and practical guidance during the sessions.
