China has recently claimed that the frontier state Zangnan of Arunachal Pradesh is their part of territory. India has rejected China’s claims and said that Arunachal Pradesh was, is and will always be a part of India.

Addressing a rally in Assam’s Lakhimpur, Shah said, “During the Chinese aggression of 1962, Nehru had said ‘bye-bye’ to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. People of these states can never forget that…But now, China could not encroach even a single inch of our land. Even in Doklam, we pushed them back.”

Further, he also mentioned about Assam accord which was signed during Congress-led but never got fulfilled. However, after the BJP government, the Bodo Accord was signed fulfilling all the clauses.
