Manipur won two silver medals and one bronze medal in the Karate competition of the 67th National School Games, which was held in Delhi from December 16-19, 2023.Leishangthem Lucky Singh actually bagged silver medal in the 82kg category while Phundreimayum Awes Alam took the other silver medal in the 75kg category. At the same time Kongjbam Robert Meitei finished third in the 45kg category to earn bronze medal. In fact the team was accompanied by Soibam Chandrima, Ch Premananda (coach) and L Manao (manager). This is actually good news as Manipur is winning so many medals and getting importance.
Today people are taking interest in Karate and actually from it they are learning many things. We should try to spend time in doing extracurricular activities and learn different things like Karate. In reality this medals are very important for Manipur as it is making the whole state proud. If you see right now everywhere people are facing different problems and for this thing people should try to spend time on learning good things like Karate as it will make their life better by getting involved in good things.
