Heirok Apunba Club, the leading organization of various clubs in Heirok, Thoubal district, has committed to deploying volunteers at local examination centres to ensure fair conduct during the upcoming board examinations. The initiative aims to motivate students and enhance the quality of education from the grassroots level. The Class XII Higher Secondary and Class X Examinations, starting February 17, will occur at Heirok Higher Secondary School and Heirok High School. Volunteers will monitor both sites to uphold the integrity of the process. The club has requested local bodies, students’ unions, and organizations to refrain from interfering in the examinations. Additionally, guardians are advised not to gather within 300 metres of the centres throughout the exam period, and teachers from nearby coaching institutes are warned against aiding students using unfair methods. The club has asserted that individuals engaging in inappropriate conduct or colluding with educators or invigilators will face stringent consequences.
