On December 17 in Imphal the three-day 6th Governor’s Art Exhibition organised under the aegis of Art Society Manipur commenced at the I-Art Gallery located along Thangmeiband DM College road, here, on Sunday. The art works of artist Laishram Phunindro Singh, who is the recipient of the 6th Governor’s Art award, is being displayed at the exhibition inaugurated by Manipur State Kala Akademi (MSKA) secretary Sunanda Thokchom. The exhibition will be opened for public view from 11 am to 3:30 pm on all three days. It may be mentioned that in a function held at Raj Bhavan on December 4 the 6th Governor’s Art award was handed over to Phunindro.
