The Governor of Manipur has issued an order which states that the Sirens used in Ambulance vehicles and other agencies should not match with those used by police and law enforcement agencies in terms of model and sound. They should be different from eachother. This directive aims to prevent any confusion and doubt that may arise due to the usage and similarity of Siren models between different agencies.
The order states, considering the prevailing law and order situation of the State and for the effective maintenance of law and order the State Government recognizes the issues that arise from the use of sirens with similar sounds by both ambulance and police or law enforcing agencies. This creates a lot of confusion and panic among the general public.
In light of the above matter and the sensitive nature of using the same Sirens for different authorities, the Governor of Manipur instructs and orders that all Sirens fitted in ambulance vehicles and other agencies, other than police and law enforcing agencies, should not be similar in type and sound to those used by the police and law enforcing agencies. It should be the different one.
