Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla was briefed by senior BSF officials on Friday regarding the current security situation along the state’s borders and the continuous efforts to maintain regional peace and stability. Governor Bhalla was received at the Raj Bhavan in Imphal by BSF Additional Director General (ADG) Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal and Inspector General of Mizoram & Cachar Frontier Ravi Kant. The officers described the BSF’s operational readiness and its function in border security in the face of ongoing tensions during the high-level meeting.

The officers briefed the governor on the BSF’s extensive efforts to handle the changing security threats. Additionally, they emphasized that sustaining law and order requires constant interaction with governmental agencies. Later, a BSF statement underlined the force’s proactive involvement in resolving border-related issues and restated its dedication to peace and stability in Manipur and the surrounding regions.
