Security forces arrested an active cadre of the KYKL (G-5) involved in a fuel station explosion in Moirang Thana Leikai, Bishnupur district, on January 8. The individual, Hijam Manichandra Singh, 35, from Waikhong Chingdong Leikai in Kakching district, was apprehended in the Komnao Makha Leikai area under Waikhong Police Station. Following his arrest, additional accomplices connected to the explosion have been identified, and efforts to apprehend them are ongoing, as stated by the Manipur Police. Additionally, during operations, security forces arrested a PREPAK (Pro) cadre, identified as 19-year-old Huiningshungbam George Bush Meitei, also known as Ningthem, from Thangmeiband Sinam Leikai in Imphal West district. A mobile phone was confiscated from him, according to the police statement.
