Five people were taken into custody by the Manipur Police for engaging in illegal stone extraction in Lungthar village, Thoubal district. The security staff is attempting to stop illicit quarrying operations with this operation. Among those detained are Md. Rami Khan (41), Md. Abir Khan (35), Haobam Naocha Singh (19), Wairokpam Somorjit Meitei (28), and Keisham Sumonanda Meitei (26). In order to successfully stop additional unlawful extraction, authorities also seized one JCB and three Tata Dumper Hyva trucks from the location. The raid demonstrates the police’s dedication to upholding the law and protecting the environment.

In the meantime, the staff conducted area domination drills and search operations in the susceptible and periphery of the hill and valley districts.
