A first aid training programme was conducted at Heirok Part II, Litan, organized by Ningol Club and Humanity Service Foundation in collaboration with BABINA Hospital and support from EcoNetwork Manipur. Dr. Lakshmi Kangjam, a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at BABINA Hospital, led the session focusing on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), vital techniques for emergencies. Participants learned to recognize symptoms of heart attack, cardiac arrest, and stroke, with practical demonstrations on immediate actions during such crises. Moirangthem Inunganbi Chanu, General Secretary of Ningol Club, emphasized the importance of first aid and CPR skills for the community and expressed gratitude towards BABINA Hospital and Dr. Kangjam for their efforts. The programme was attended by approximately 30 participants, and plans for future training sessions at various locations were announced.
