MLA M. Rameshwar of Kakching Constituency highlighted ongoing efforts to elevate the constituency’s status in Manipur and India during the inauguration of a new road built with paver block technology. He emphasized significant advancements in education, healthcare, road connectivity, and infrastructure since his election, urging public cooperation for the successful implementation of various development projects. MLA Rameshwar expressed satisfaction with Chief Minister Y. Khemchand’s commitment to allocate ₹5 crore per constituency for road improvements, reinforcing the feasibility of major road projects. The road’s durability, expected to outlast ten years, was noted. Additional development initiatives include the establishment of a new Ema Market, expansions to the District Hospital, potable water supply under AMRUT 2.0, ongoing construction at DSA Ground, and upgrades to Kha Manipur College. The MLA is optimistic about future projects under the BJP-led NDA Government and appealed for community support to ensure their success.
