On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla conveyed his warm wishes to the people of Manipur, particularly addressing his Muslim constituents. Similarly, Chief Minister Y Khemchand extended his greetings, explaining that Eid ul-Fitr marks the joyous conclusion of Ramadan. This festival, celebrated on the second day of Shawwal following the lunar sighting, involves breaking the fast and encourages individuals to reflect and improve their conduct. Festivities include prayers at mosques, enjoying festive meals, charitable acts, and gift exchanges. The Chief Minister concluded with a prayer for peace, safety, health, and happiness on this significant day.
