A preparatory meeting in connection with the upcoming Republic Day celebration was held today at the conference hall of Noney Deputy Commissioner in Noney District Headquarter.
Noney Deputy Commissioner Vidyamari Sridhar, IAS opened the meeting and was presided by the ADM ST. Rithung Anal, MCS. During the meeting, the DC instructed all the lines department under the Noney District for various tasks such as Republic Day celebration venue ground cleaning and watering, decoration of the venue and stage, setting up of lights, construction of gates at various locations, sitting arrangement, arrangements of medical facilities, and refreshments and other necessary activities.
The DC also instructed the Noney ZEO to co-ordinate with the schools principal and students for the arrangement of March past contingent and also assigned the 19th AR Noney for the arrangement of Band Party and other related services.
As usual, Longmai Common Ground in Longmai -3 is decided for the celebration venue. Republic day rehearsal is scheduled to start from January 23 and full dress rehearsal to be held on January 24, informed the DC.
The preparatory meeting was attended by District Level Officer (DLO’s) of ll the lines department under Noney District.
