At approximately 0045 hrs, gunfire erupted from the Kuki Village side, aimed towards the Meitei Village side, instigated by Kuki arms groups. Tragically, four personnel bore the brunt of the explosion’s wrath. Among them, Inspector/GD Jadav Das, Sub-Inspector/GD N Sarkar, Head Constable/GD Arup Saini, and Constable/GD Aftab Hussain found themselves engulfed in the chaos.
