Imphal: The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has vehemently denounced the bombing within the DMU campus, which resulted in one student dying and another being wounded, as well as the fire of its office in Lamphel, Imphal West, by some unidentified individuals.

The United Committee Manipur office and the COCOMI office are both situated in Lamphel, Imphal West.

When a bomb went off within the DMU campus, one student died from his wounds and another was hurt, even though there is still fighting in Manipur, COCOMI Coordinator Somorendro Thokchom called it terrible.
Manipur’s population, together with other civic groups, has been defending itself against Kuki narco-terrorist assaults for the past nine months. All organizations and civil entities must cooperate as safeguarding Manipur is one of their shared objectives. He said that COCOMI has been operating with public backing ever since the crises’ early stages.

According to him, COCOMI has been working on documenting the problem, and the coordinating organization has even started giving some wounded parties financial support.

Unwanted incidents like this one, which happened in other Manipur locations, have the potential to fuel animosity between organizations. According to Somorendro, they should be prevented in the near future and instead, all organizations should collaborate together.
He went on to say that hundreds of central forces had been assigned to the state to quell unrest since it broke out. He pleaded with the security adviser to make the required security preparations in order to prevent future unintended occurrences that resulted from security shortcomings.
