Chief Minister Y. Khemchand today offered prayers at Ima Chinga Lairembi Shanglen at Assam Rifles Post, Singjamei Chinga Hill in the Imphal West district, to seek blessings for restoring lasting peace, strengthening harmony among all communities, and accelerating sustainable development in the state.

In a post on X and Facebook, Chief Minister Khemchand said, “Offered prayers this morning at Ima Chinga Lairembi Shanglen at Assam Rifles Post, Singjamei Chinga Hill. I was warmly received by Maj Gen Gaurav Sharma, SC, SM, IGAR(S); Brig Pratyush Kumar, YSM, Cdr 9 Sector; Col Dushant Singh Lama, Commandant 31 Assam Rifles; and Maj Rajkumar Sanjeev, Coy Cdr, Chinga COB.”

“With the blessings of Ima Chinga Lairembi, I reaffirmed my unwavering commitment to restore lasting peace, strengthen harmony among all communities, and accelerate sustainable development in Manipur. CM Khemchand also interacted with the senior members of Chinga Mathak Young Learners Club (CYLC) at their premises today.

In another post, Khemchand said, “It was a pleasure to interact with the senior members of the Chinga Mathak Young Learners Club (CYLC) at their premises today. I listened attentively to their concerns, suggestions, and aspirations regarding the development of the club and the welfare of the locality.”

“Assured them that our government will extend all possible assistance to address their grievances and further strengthen the functioning of the club. Reiterated that collective efforts to nurture such community institutions are vital in promoting social harmony, youth engagement, and public welfare in the society,” the Chief Minister said.
