Chief Minister Y.Khemchand deeply condoled the sad demise of MLA Vungzagin Valte who breathed his last at a hospital in Gurugram on February 20.
In his condolence message, Chief Minister Khemchand said, “Valte was a respected leader and a three-time Member of the Legislative Assembly from Thanlon constituency. He served the people with dedication and worked sincerely for the welfare of society. He had been undergoing prolonged medical treatment in New Delhi and Churachandpur. His health condition worsened recently, and was airlifted to New Delhi for advanced care with support from the Government of Manipur. During this difficult time, I personally monitored his health and ensured all possible medical arrangements for his treatment”.
“His passing is a great loss for his family, his supporters, and the people of Manipur. He will be remembered for his public service and commitment to the people,” the Chief Minister said.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Manipur, the Chief Minister conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family. He also shared their grief and prayed that Valte’s soul rests in eternal peace.
