Chief Minister Y Khemchand extended his warm greetings to the people of the State, especially Muslim brothers and sisters, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramzan (Ramadan).
“Ramadan is the holiest month in Islam, defined by fasting from dawn until dusk. This sacred time strengthens community bonds and ignites a spirit of generosity. For Muslims, fasting and prayer during Ramadan cultivate self-discipline, gratitude, and empathy, inspiring increased charity alongside a deep focus on spiritual growth,” Chief Minister Khemchand said in his message.
“As we observe the holy month of Ramadan, let us embody the Prophet’s message of compassion and peace. May this sacred month of Ramadan bring our State and its people closer to harmony, stability, and lasting peace,” the Chief Minister said.
