Manipur: Chief Minister N. Biren Singh was the chief guest for today’s celebration of Sanaroishingee Numit (Players’ Day) 2024 at the Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex. The Department of Youth Affairs & Sports, Manipur Government, was in charge of organizing the event.
The Khuman Lampak Sports Complex’s Mr. Maipak Sports Digital Experience Center was also opened by the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh spoke at the event and said that all gold medal winners of the 36th and 37th National Games, which were held in Gujarat and Goa, respectively, would receive government employment.

In the expectation that the Chief Minister would lead the sports industry in the State and that many athletes would continue to win accolades for the region, he expressed optimism.
The Chief Minister gave monetary rewards to athletes who had placed first in a variety of national and international competitions for their particular sports during the program. He also congratulated the State’s seasoned athletes.
The program was attended by a variety of people, including government representatives, seasoned athletes, coaches, and athletes from throughout the State. Chief Secretary Dr. Vineet Joshi, MLAs Th. Arunkumar and Th. Shanti of Moirang AC, and MLA Th. Ibomcha of Wangkhei AC, were also in attendance.
