During an electrifying election rally held in Ukhrul today in support of NDA/NPF candidate Kachui Timothy Zimik, M Asnikumar Singh, spokesperson of BJP Manipur Pradesh and prabhari of Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, labeling its agenda as divisive and communal. Singh asserted that while the BJP prioritizes inclusive growth and development, the Congress party’s history is marred by divisive and communal politics. He emphasized BJP’s dedication to empowering every citizen of Ukhrul and Manipur, nurturing youth entrepreneurship, and advocating for women’s rights.

Drawing a sharp contrast between the BJP’s inclusive agenda and the Congress party’s divisive policies, Singh highlighted the detrimental effects of the latter’s approach on the state’s current volatile situation. He stressed the importance of leadership committed to genuine progress and unity, especially in times of unrest and violence. Amid Manipur’s diverse communities, Singh underscored their enduring unity and resilience against external influences, emphasizing the BJP and its NDA allies as the frontrunners in offering long-term solutions to the state’s challenges.

Looking ahead to the parliamentary elections, Singh urged the people to support NPF candidate Zimik, reaffirming their commitment to progress, development, and unity. Expressing confidence in BJP’s electoral prospects, Singh predicted a landslide victory with more than 350 seats independently and over 400 seats with allies. He envisioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi securing his third term in June, citing BJP’s unwavering commitment to good governance and holistic development.
