Security forces recovered arms and ammunition following a search operation conducted at Tentha Erel Ching under Khongjom-PS, Thoubal district on Monday. The recovered weapons include one SMG carbine along with one magazine, three bolt action Rifles, two SBBL, one .32 Pistol along with magazine, one .32 live round, one 9 mm blank cartridge and three helmets. Security forces also recovered weapons from the general area between T. Bollok and L. Molhoi village under Chakpikarong-PS, Chandel district.
One G-3 Rifle with empty magazine, three Lathode Guns (country made), two single-barrel guns, three Pompi Shells (Locally made), four Pompi guns, two Carbine with empty Magazine (Locally made), two Magazine Pouches, 55 numbers of 7.62 mm live ammunition of AK Rifle, eight Baofang Radio Sets and one Dagger with cover.
