Beyond the realm of the silver screen, actors Arjun Rampal and Shah Rukh Khan share a strong bond in their personal lives too.
There is no doubt that Shahrukh Khan and Arjun Rampal are a formidable pair, when they appear together on screen the film often becomes a huge success. Interestingly, however, he rarely played the same role in most of his films: if one played the protagonist, the other usually played the antagonist, as in Don (2006), Om Shanti Om (2007). and Ra.One (2011). The only exception here is Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (2006), where Arjun played a small role.
Beyond the realm of the silver screen, both the actors share a strong bond in their personal lives too. Arjun recently spoke openly about his relationship while praising the Badshah of Bollywood. “Shah Rukh has tremendous depth,” he said in a recent episode of The Ranveer Show. “He has also seen a lot in life.” He has made a huge sacrifice. He is talented in that he can foresee things. His foresight is incredible. She is also extremely hard-working,” said Arjun.
“What you can take from him is… a little bit of everything: good qualities, the way he behaves and his good habits. If you can create a lot of good habits that far outweigh your bad habits, you develop in a special way, and when you continue to do that, you become natural. Ultimately that becomes your personality. Shahrukh is very good at making those great habits a part of his personality,” he said.
Recalling their first meeting, Arjun said that it happened through his ex-wife Mehr Jessia and Shahrukh’s wife Gauri Khan, who are good friends. “In the beginning we just met each other once or twice and exchanged greetings,” he said. Arjun, who was last seen in the box office bomb Crack (2024), is currently gearing up for the release of the period war romantic drama The Battle of Bhima Koregaon, in which he plays the lead role of Sidhannak Mahar Inamdar, a Mahar warrior.
