A one-day free comprehensive mega health camp was jointly organised by Shija Eye Care Foundation, Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt. Ltd., NPCB & VI, Manipur Chapter, and the All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union on Thursday at Manipur Press Club. The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and facilitate early detection of common medical conditions among members of the media fraternity and their families.
Approximately 55 members of the All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union, along with their family members, attended the camp and availed of complimentary consultations and health assessments. Ophthalmic evaluations were conducted by Dr. Dinakumar Yambem and Dr. Chakpram Priyalakshmi, Consultant Ophthalmologists, Shija Eye Care Foundation. General health consultations and medical assessments were provided by specialists from the Department of Medicine, Shija Hospitals. The collaborative effort reflects the continued commitment to community outreach, preventive healthcare, and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders across thestate.
