The 18th Iftar Party organized by the Pangal Students’ Organization (PSO) Manipur took place at Lilong Higher Secondary Madrassa, featuring key figures such as Wangkhem Rameshor Singh, Principal of the madrassa; S Sanjoy, President of AMUCO; Farid Bogimayum, President of PSO Manipur; and others. S Sanjoy emphasized the enduring bond between the Meitei and Meitei Pangal communities, acknowledging their shared history and significant contributions to the region. He criticized the divisive actions of India that hinder economic and social progress, calling for unity among all communities to foster a harmonious Manipur. Farid Bogimayum noted that the PSO has held this Iftar party annually since 2008, aiming to cultivate love and understanding among the communities. He urged for the cessation of divisions and appealed for government action to support children and youths in relief camps, advocating for a Manipur built on love and collaboration.
