The Middle East was already hot with the Hamas-Israel war in Gaza. Attacks and counter-attacks are still ongoing. Meanwhile, Ismail Haniyeh, the political head of Hamas, was killed in Tehran, Iran. The Islamic country is in turmoil. Iran declared war against Israel! As a result, the Middle East has practically become a wildfire. In this situation, Air India has canceled all flights from Delhi to Tel Aviv till August 8.

According to the US media’s New York Times, Iran’s “all-powerful” Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has ordered an attack on Israel to avenge the killing of Ismail Haniyeh. As a result, Tehran can strike a terrible blow on the Jewish state at any time. In this climate today, Friday, the Indian airline Air India issued a statement saying, ‘Due to the ongoing situation in parts of the Middle East, we have immediately suspended all flights from Delhi to Tel Aviv till August 8, 2024. No flights from Tel Aviv will come to India either. We are monitoring the entire situation. A one-time cancellation charge will be waived for cancellation of flight tickets to Tel Aviv. Passenger and crew safety is our top priority.

It should be noted that on Tuesday, July 30, the political head of the Palestinian militant organization Hamas, Haniyeh, went to the swearing-in ceremony of the new president of Iran, Masoud Pezheshkian. He was killed a few hours later. According to top Iranian leaders, including Khamenei, the Israeli spy agency Mossad killed the Hamas chief. Khamenei sat in a meeting with Pezheskian and the top commanders of the army to take revenge. It was there that the Supreme Leader of Iran ordered a direct attack against Israel. Although Israel did not accept responsibility for this incident. But once Iran starts attacking, the Middle East will become more dangerous. As a result, Air India has taken this decision considering the importance of the situation and keeping in mind the safety of all.
