A newly constructed building for the Youth Sports & Welfare Association (YSWA) Club in Chabung Company Awang Leikai was inaugurated, with Mayang Imphal AC MLA Kongkham Robindro serving as the Chief Guest. During the ceremony, MLA Robindro highlighted the hardships faced by many residents over the past three years and discussed government initiatives aimed at assisting those affected, particularly students. He noted efforts to provide direct financial aid to support the education of displaced students and assured continued assistance for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). Additionally, BJP Mayang Imphal Mandal President Irom Rabi Singh called for public support and prayers to facilitate the inclusion of a Cabinet Minister from their constituency in the forthcoming expansion of the State ministry, led by Chief Minister Y. Khemchand Singh.
