Central Agricultural University in Imphal is set to host the Agri-Youth Parliament 2026 – North East Bharat from March 21 to 23. This initiative aims to unite agricultural youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, and experts in order to foster dialogue, idea exchange, and policy development, thereby promoting sustainable agriculture in the North Eastern Region. Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Anupam Mishra, the event will create a platform for collaboration among innovators, researchers, and farmers who focus on preserving traditional practices and biodiversity. Key activities will include entrepreneurial sessions on topics like agri-start-ups, technological advancement, and value chain development, as well as exhibitions and discussions featuring successful entrepreneurs and academicians. Applications are open for participants interested in shaping the future of agriculture in the region, aligning with national goals for a robust agricultural and economic ecosystem by 2047.
