In a remarkable achievement, two sibling brothers from Manipur’s Mao Naga community have become the first Chartered Accountants (CAs) from the state. The younger sibling, A. Kaiyikho Kayina Mao, successfully cleared the 2025 CA examination, the results of which were declared on Sunday, joining his elder brother, A. Losii Kayina, a practicing CA based in Imphal. Originally from Song Song village, the family now resides in Mao Taphou, Senapati District Headquarters.
Kaiyikho, 30, is the son of Adahe Mao and Riamjenliu Mao, and this success marks a major milestone after years of dedication. He cleared the exam on his third attempt. A postgraduate from the Delhi School of Economics, he also earned his undergraduate degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
Both sons of a retired Income Tax officer, Kaiyikho’s accomplishment has brought great joy and pride to his family and community, highlighting their determination and hard work in one of India’s toughest professional exams.
