Recently the bodies of 64 persons who lost their lives during the ethnic violence in Manipur more than seven months ago were airlifted to Churachandpur, Kangpokpi and Imphal on this Thursday for the last rites. In fact sixty of the victims belonged to Kuki-Zo community and their bodies were lying in the morgues of two hospitals in Imphal. Actually the bodies were airlifted to Kangpokpi and Churachandpur, both Kuki-majority districts. Also the bodies of four Meiteis, lying at the morgue of a hospital in Churachandpur, were taken to Meitei-majority Imphal and handed over to their families. In reality this is bad news as due to this type of problem in the state people are dying and making everyone very sad.
People should not fight with each other and keep peace so that no violence happens. In reality due to this type of violence many people die and it creates trouble. Today it has become a need for people to live with integrity and help each other in problem. Presently in every corner of the world war is going on and people are suffering for it very much. We need to change our mentality and make this world a better place to live.
